Mayflower Care Homes
Specialist care for the elderly and people with dementia
Mayflower Care Homes specialises in care for the elderly and for people with dementia in their two Homes: 'Mayflower Court' and 'Hillgrove'.
Mayflower Court was established in 1985 and Hillgrove was acquired and converted in 1999 and the company was formed in 2000. The company is family run and the directors have over 30 years continuous experience in this field. Over the years Mayflower Care Homes has developed a long established and highly motivated team who provide care of the highest quality.
Both homes are located in large detached Edwardian buildings in exclusive residential areas on the Wirral. We feel that they are an ideal size to provide homely, non-institutionalised, care where residents have a real input into how the homes are run.
During the covid pandemic we aim to update our social media regularly with updates and messages from the residents. Please click on the facebook icon to access our facebook page.
Mayflower Court is located in the quiet area of Oxton on the Wirral. It provides personalised care for 20 elderly male and female residents in a warm, relaxed and homely environment.
When I first moved here, I didn't think we would stay. I didn't like anything or anyone. I dod not show my best side. I moaned about everything all that time. All the staff were great they were kind, caring, considerate and I didn't realise. I was homesick, missed my flat, my friends, everything, now
I would not move.
Great staff, great food, great beds, laundry done with care, only 20 residents and everyone is friendly.
It really is very homely, comfy and very good.
Plus the owner is great and will help with anything.
